It took me few hours to completely understand how to use this calibration system. Trust me, it does work extremely well. When you test: 1.Everything must be on manual mode including ISO 2. Use distance tool on Lensalign webpage to place your camera in proper....distance 3. Focus on the red dot that has to be exactly in center for perfect alignment 4. Take a picture in Live view mode and then take at least 3 more using your optical viewfinder. Move your focus ring every time you take a new picture. 5. Compare LV vs Optical VW photographs. If they are not exactly the same, you will have to fine tune your lens till the focus point matches live view mode. All of my lenses sharpness improved after calibration. This is probably the best calibration system you can buy right now.
